Medical Awareness Camp
Since good health is one of the primary needs which have to be taken care of; we have taken measures to set up camps in slums and rural areas, devoted towards increasing the awareness of basic medical needs.
It would be really helpful if you could donate any extra non-prescription medicines, or first-aid elements which you might have at home, because we believe prevention is better than cure, and everyonemust have basic health amenities with themselves.
Blanket/ Clothes Distribution
Understanding the crucial role harsh weather conditions play in the lives of homeless people, we have taken steps to distribute blankets and clothes to ease their discomfort in the winters.
If you have any unused clothes at home, kindly donate it to our cause, since it is a major necessity, especially during the extremely harsh winters.
Books Distribution
Education is a basic right, and we hope to motivate children towards it by enhancing and engaging their interest towards the same, by giving them books and introducing them to the world of language and knowledge.
Any books which you might have, which are of no use to you anymore, can make a huge difference in these little children’s worlds. Please contribute such books and help us in making their horizon wider, and their future brighter.
Food Distribution
It would be extremely difficult for children to focus on higher needs of being educated, if they are unable to fulfil their basic need of hunger. Keeping this in mind, we strive to provide them with food resources.
If you have surplus food, kindly donate it to us so that we can give it to people who are in dire need of food. Instead of wasting extra food by throwing it in the dustbin, you could help a child and give him one good meal. Such small steps taken by everyone would ensure that not just one child, but many children get the opportunity to savour good and healthy meals, which would otherwise be wasted.
Environmental Awareness
The basic information about the importance of good personal hygiene, along with that of environmental cleanliness, is provided. Keeping in mind the Swachh Bharat Mission launched by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Sri NarendraModi, we are striving to spread its message to the grass-roots level.
